Functional Analyst

This position requires a broad understanding of managing the technology-related systems that are used for analysis of business/production processes and procedures, also the necessary skills to ccommunicate with affected stakeholders and gathers their insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Minimum 5+ years of experience as an (IT) functional analyst
* Strong analytical skills with a solution-driven approach
* Deep knowledge on functional analysis (also business analysis knowledge)
* Knowledge an experience in logistical and production environments
* Good communication and presentation skills
* Experienced knowledge of UML
* Knowledge of data modeling with ERD
* Skillset to transform business requirements into IT requirements using user stories, story maps and data models, among other things.
* Ability to work effectively in both team and independent setting
* Collaborate with technical team(s) to implement development projects
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to possible gaps in information gathering.
* Develop and maintain documentation for these requirements but also the processes and procedures
* Knowledge of BPMN is not necessary but a plus
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.
* English language competency

Key Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

* As an analyst being the bridge between the business and the development team
* Having a good picture on each (new) business need and translate them to requirements and specifications for the development team
* Work together with the current senior solution architect
* Ability to readily grasp complex ERP environments and provide innovative solutions to address product limitations in the ERP, performance issues and complex business requirements.
* Get acquainted fast with the current functionalities and technicity of our current WMS-application and ERP-application.
* Guard the quality of the WMS-application and follow the current "ideology."
* Learn to identify the data-needs for the ERP/WMS and specify new interfaces.
* Together with the project/team manager guard the timing, progress, risks and dependencies.
* Other duties as assigned
