Everything you should know about this event

How engineering teams operate has evolved significantly over the years, shaped by technological advances and changing business needs. During this meetup, we will explore where we stand today and the key trends influencing the way teams work around us. We will reflect on how development teams approached innovation and change in the past, and discuss how we would like to shape the future of engineering ourselves.

A central theme is the role of artificial intelligence. Where does AI truly enhance our capabilities, and where should human judgement remain leading? Expect practical examples, strategic perspective and an open exchange with fellow engineering leaders.

Agenda

  • New connections with like-minded innovators

The speakers

Paolo Brunasti – Head of Engineering

Paolo is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in Java-based architectures and system design. Throughout his career, including his time as Head of Engineering at Tadaah, he has defined technical vision, shaped scalable Java platforms and aligned technology decisions with business objectives. For many years he has been contract professor at the Universita' Milano Bicocca where he has been teaching IT subjects in the Economic faculty.

Today, Paolo focuses on the AI landscape and shares practical insights drawn from multiple engineering environments on how teams can integrate AI without compromising quality, architecture or strategic direction. He is also a member of ENIA's Scientific-Technical Board (Ente Nazionale per l’Intelligenza Artificiale).

Welcome to our office

Public transport or car?

The ITO Tower is just a 2-minute walk from Amsterdam Zuid station, making it easily accessible by public transport. Prefer to come by car? To avoid high parking fees in the nearest car parks, consider options like De Boelelaan or services such as Parkbee or Mobian (park & bike) – instead of navigating to the nearest commercial car parks. The ITO Tower does not offer its own parking.

How to get to the venue?

The address Gustav Mahlerplein 76 directs you to Vibe Group. As part of Vibe Group, Spilberg is also located here. When arriving at the ITO Tower, report to the reception desk for elevator access and take the elevator up to the lounge on floor 11-north. Note: Spilberg is not listed separately in the building.
