QA Engineer

A medical research company develops advanced AI-driven medical software that supports clinicians in making accurate diagnoses and defining personalized care pathways. By combining medical imaging, artificial intelligence and clinical research, this organization helps translate innovative technology into daily clinical practice. We are looking for a motivated and energetic QA Test Engineer to implement and execute validation tests for regulated medical software devices. You will join a highly skilled and collaborative team of experts in medical imaging, artificial intelligence, algorithm development and clinical research, working closely together in an informal yet professional environment.Your roleIn this position, you will play a key role in continuously improving testing activities to ensure that newly developed technology is safe, reliable and ready for clinical use. The role requires analytical thinking, creativity and a hands-on mindset, and includes:

• Working closely with stakeholders such as clinical specialists, quality experts, AI engineers and software developers to define test requirements and testing strategies.
• Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents and providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Being among the first to gain hands-on experience with new developments by executing both manual and automated tests.
• Further designing, improving and maintaining the automated test pipeline and test environment.Job requirementsYou are self-driven, enthusiastic and proactive, with a strong problem-solving attitude and a clear ambition to continue learning and growing. In addition, you bring:
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in writing structured and concise test plans and test cases.
• Solid knowledge of Python and scripting.
• The ability and motivation to grow within a scaling and innovative organization.
• Comfort working in a Linux-based environment.
• Strong communication skills in English.Preferred qualifications
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Experience working with virtual machines and Docker containers.
