Test Engineer Applications

I'm currently supporting an innovative technology company in their search for a skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer. The company is developing high-tech, software-driven systems used in complex, real-world environments. In this role, you will contribute directly to the quality and reliability of software systems that are critical to their customers' operations. Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scenarios for a modular, service-oriented digital platform.

* Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure software quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

* Perform exploratory manual tests with a focus on complex edge cases and system-level behavior.

* Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders.

* Improve and support test frameworks, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.

* Identify opportunities for automation across both legacy and greenfield features.

Project Focus Areas:

* Scalable test automation building future-proof test frameworks that enable fast and reliable validation cycles.

* Quality assurance in continuous delivery enhancing test coverage and consistency across rapid release pipelines.

* API and system integration testing ensuring seamless interaction across distributed services and external platforms.

Experience in one or more of these areas is considered a strong advantage.

Your Profile:

* At least 2 years of experience in software QA and test automation.

* Open to working in a balanced role with a 50/50 focus on test automation and functional testing.

* Hands-on knowledge of tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, XUnit, or Testcontainers.

* Programming skills in Python or other programming languages like C# and Javascript.

* Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines, version control systems like Git, API testing tools (Postman / REST Assured), and SQL.

* Understanding of test methodologies, including exploratory testing, risk-based testing, and ISTQB-aligned practices.

* Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to uncover hard-to-find issues through a critical, systems-thinking mindset.
