Senior UX Designer - Financial Domain (Central Netherlands)Location: Central NetherlandsWork model: HybridHours: 32-36 hours per weekExperience level: Senior UX DesignerCreate digital solutions that help financial professionals make better decisionsFor an organisation within the financial sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer who can translate complex business challenges into clear, intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences.You will work on applications and processes used daily by professionals who assess financial risks, monitor customer integrity and perform complex investigations. Your work will directly contribute to improving the way financial specialists perform their roles.As a UX Designer, you combine strategic thinking, UX Research and hands-on design. You investigate user needs, map processes and journeys, and translate insights into practical design solutions that create measurable impact.Your roleAs a Senior UX Designer, you own the complete UX process: from research and concept development to design, validation and implementation.Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting UX Research through interviews, observations, workshops and usability testing;
  • Analysing complex business processes and translating them into simple, intuitive user experiences;
  • Mapping user journeys, workflows and digital ecosystems;
  • Creating personas, journey maps, prototypes and interaction designs;
  • Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and business stakeholders;
  • Supporting design decisions with user insights, research findings and data;
  • Guiding development teams during implementation and ensuring design quality;
  • Contributing to digital strategy, design principles and future-proof solutions.Working with Pega development teamsIn this role, you will work closely with teams developing enterprise applications using low-code platforms such as Pega.You are able to:
  • Clearly communicate design decisions and UX concepts to Pega Developers;
  • Collaborate on translating user needs into technically feasible solutions;
  • Consider component-based design approaches and reusable design patterns;
  • Balance user experience, technical feasibility and maintainability together with development teams.Experience with Pega Constellation, Cosmos or similar enterprise platforms is a plus, but not required.What you bringYou have:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a UX Designer in complex organisations;
  • Proven experience with UX Research and user-centred design processes;
  • Experience designing enterprise applications and complex workflows;
  • The ability to simplify complex problems and create intuitive solutions;
  • Experience with journey mapping, service design or similar methodologies;
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams across business and IT;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders;
  • A portfolio demonstrating your research approach, design process and design decisions.Your profileYou are someone who:
