Business Analyst

For a client of Spilberg in the transport & logistics sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their IT Solutions team.You will work in a technically complex and constantly evolving environment where business applications play a critical role in day-to-day operations. The mission focuses on strategic digital transformation initiatives, with the objective of improving business processes, optimising data exchanges and supporting the evolution of critical operational solutions.Your role:As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing, defining and implementing IT solutions that meet business and operational requirements.You will act as the link between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, developers and external partners. Your ability to understand complex business needs, challenge requirements and translate them into clear functional solutions will be essential to the success of the projects.Your responsibilities:Business analysis

• Gather, analyse and challenge business requirements.
• Organise and facilitate workshops with different stakeholders.
• Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Understand operational challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
• Translate business requirements into clear and structured functional specifications.Project coordination
• Participate in application evolution and transformation projects.
• Coordinate between business teams, developers, and external partners.
• Follow up on development activities and project progress.
• Contribute to impact analyses and risk management.
• Support the planning of the different project phases.Testing & implementation
• Prepare and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Participate in data migration activities.
• Support go-live activities.
• Follow up on incidents during the hypercare period.
• Ensure a smooth transition towards the operational teams.Documentation & knowledge management
• Create and maintain functional documentation.
• Document business processes, interfaces, and data flows.
• Maintain documentation in Azure DevOps.
• Contribute to the ITSM knowledge base.
• Organise knowledge transfer towards internal teams to ensure business continuity.

Your profile:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Analysis.
• Solid experience working on complex IT projects.
• Proven experience writing functional specifications.
• Experience facilitating business workshops.
• Experience with user acceptance testing, data migration, and go-live activities.
• Strong experience coordinating between business and technical teams.

Business Analysis skills:

• Strong requirements analysis skills.
• Business process modelling experience.
• Excellent functional specification writing skills.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Technical knowledge:

• Azure DevOps
• ITIL
• DevSecOps
• ISO 27001
• GDPRExperience in one or more of the following domains is also highly appreciated:
• Transport or logistics
• Cargo
• Airport-related environments
• Customs processes
• IATA terminology
• Critical operational environments
