Functional Analyst

For a client of Spilberg in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst to strengthen several Agile delivery squads responsible for digital banking solutions.As a Functional Analyst, you act as the link between business stakeholders and the development teams. You analyse business requirements, define functional and non-functional specifications, and ensure that innovative digital solutions are successfully delivered.Your responsibilities:

• Analyse business needs together with stakeholders and Product Owners.
• Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Design functional solutions together with Architects and Development teams.
• Define service specifications and contribute to data modelling.
• Maintain functional documentation in Confluence.
• Manage and refine the product backlog in Jira.
• Create functional test scenarios and support the Scrum team during development and testing.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, and Architects within Agile squads.

Your profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional or Business Analyst.
• Experience within banking or digital channels is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of:
• UML and/or BPMN
• Jira, Confluence and Enterprise Architect
• SQL and relational databases
• Java environments
• REST APIs and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Experience with payments, digital banking, onboarding, or card solutions is considered a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in multidisciplinary Agile teams.
• Comfortable working with both local and offshore teams.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
