You will play a key role in the design, development, and extension of the Backstage environment, contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to build and integrate platform features that support business processes and technical workflows, within a modern cloud-native ecosystem.: Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and extend the Backstage platform
• Develop and maintain custom Backstage plugins (frontend and backend)
• Implement integrations with internal systems, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and identity management tools
• Contribute to architectural decisions and provide technical recommendations
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of the platform
• Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge transferRequirements
• Proven experience with Backstage (design, customization, and extension)
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js
• Solid frontend development experience with React
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong understanding of platform architecture, integrations, and securityAdditional information
• Hybrid working model with onsite presence in Belgium
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Belgium
